Your documents are not stored on this website. They go straight to our verification partner, who is certified under the UK government's Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework. We keep the result and the record we are required to hold, and nothing more.

We will send you a secure link by text message. Open it on the phone you have with you.
Photograph your document
Hold your passport or licence flat, in good light, and let the camera focus. It will tell you if the picture is not clear enough.
Hold your phone against your passport
If your passport has the small chip symbol on the cover, your phone can read it. This is the strongest possible check. If your document has no chip, skip it and we will verify it another way.
Record a few seconds of your face
So we can confirm you are the person in the document, and that it is really you and not a photograph.
If the chip step will not work, that is fine. Not every document has a chip, and not every phone can read one. The link will simply ask you for a second document instead, and one of us will look at it.
Upload what you have
We need two documents. A clear photograph taken on your phone is perfectly acceptable, it does not need to be a scan.
One photographic document
Passport, national identity card, photocard driving licence, residence permit or visa. If you live outside the UK, at least one must be issued by a government.
One further document
A second photographic document, or something showing your name and current address: a bank statement, utility bill, council tax statement, tenancy agreement, birth or marriage certificate.
A short video of you
Hold your passport up next to your face so that both your face and the photograph page are clearly visible, then read the sentence below out loud. This is how we confirm the documents belong to you.
Files are sent over an encrypted connection and held only for as long as we are required to keep the record. Please make sure all four corners of the document are in the picture and that nothing is covered.

What happens next
We check it
Usually within one working day.
We file it with Companies House
We submit the verification on your behalf as your Authorised Corporate Service Provider.
You receive your personal code
Companies House emails an eleven character personal code directly to you. Keep it safe, you will need it again. We never see it.
If something is not right
Reply to the email we sent you, or call the office on a weekday between 10am and 6pm. Quote your reference above and we will pick it up straight away.
Stuck, or would rather we just did it?
There is no wrong way through this. If any of it is awkward, tell us and we will simply take your documents and do it ourselves. Many of our clients prefer that.
